By creating an account or using FSL, you agree to:

• Comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
• Be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

FSL is a fantasy stock trading game where users:

• Draft portfolios of real stocks in a fantasy format
• Compete against other users in divisions
• Track performance based on actual market data
• Earn points and climb rankings

Important: FSL is a game for entertainment purposes only. No real money trading occurs on our platform.

Authentication Methods

You can create an account using:

• Email/Password: Traditional account with email verification required. Login with either your email or username.
• Google Sign-In: OAuth authentication through your Google account
• Guest Mode: Limited access without account creation

Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Keep your password secure and do not share it (email/password accounts)
• Maintain the security of your Google account (OAuth accounts)
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• One account per person - multiple accounts are prohibited

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools
• Remain inactive for extended periods

Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Manipulate or exploit game mechanics
• Collude with other users to gain unfair advantages
• Use multiple accounts to circumvent draft rules
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Share or sell accounts
• Reverse engineer or attempt to access our systems

Fair Play

• Rankings and points are calculated automatically and are final
• Disputes should be reported through proper channels

FSL Content

All content on FSL, including but not limited to:

• Software, code, and algorithms
• Design, graphics, and user interface
• Text, images, and logos
• Game mechanics and scoring systems

...are owned by Fantasy Stock League LLC or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

User Content

When you upload content to FSL (such as profile images), you:

• Retain ownership of your content
• Grant FSL a non-exclusive license to store, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the service
• Represent that you have the right to upload the content
• Agree not to upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
• Understand that uploaded content (profile images) will be publicly visible

We reserve the right to remove any user content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

Stock Data: Market data is provided by third-party services (Yahoo Finance) and subject to their terms and conditions.

Your use of FSL is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Data We Collect

• Account information (username, email, password or OAuth profile)
• OAuth data (Google account email, display name, profile photo)
• Game activity and portfolio data
• Usage statistics and analytics
• Communication with support

Consent

By creating an account, you consent to:

• Collection and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy
• Use of Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage
• Email communications regarding your account and game activity
• Public display of your username, rankings, and portfolio performance

Service "As Is"

FSL is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy of stock prices or data
• Security from unauthorized access
• Fitness for a particular purpose

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FSL and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or reputation
• Service interruptions or technical issues
• Actions of other users
• Third-party data inaccuracies

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features at any time
• Change scoring systems or game rules
• Update these Terms with reasonable notice
• Introduce new features or requirements

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

FSL integrates with third-party services including:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication and database services
• Google OAuth 2.0: Sign-in with Google functionality
• SendGrid: Email delivery and notifications
• Finnhub: Real-time stock market data
• Social Media: Sharing and community features

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies:

We are not responsible for third-party services or their practices.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, please contact us at info@fantasystockleague.net to resolve disputes informally.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
